A born keralite girl (Malayali girl) has conquered the south India at the age of 24 years. Nayanthara‘s pay check is more than 1 crore per film, an achievement when compared to other girls in the same field. Fact is if she was concentrating in the Malayalam film industry it was not possible to seek such a fat pay check.
Nayanthara was chosen 1st runner up in Best model Kerala 2003 which was conducted by Thrissur Advertising Club. This gave her few opportunities in modeling for advertisements.
Nayanthara debuted in Malayalam movie “Mansinakkare ” directed by Satyan Anthikkad. Afterwards, she co-starred alongside Mohanlal in Naatturajaavu and in Fazil’s Vismayathumbathu. She was also cast with Mammootty in Thaskaraveeran (Dubbed into Tamil as Yuvaraj) and Raapakal. After a brief stint in Malayalam film industry Nayanthara decided to try her luck in other south indian languages as well. Many lucrative offers followed in Tamil, Telgu, Kannada and even in Hindi films.
In par with the stardom, Nayanthara was always been in controversy for her actions and rumors of the press. Nayanthara was always an object for the rumor world and hot news for press. Nayantara created headlines when posters of her movie Vallavan was shown around Chennai showing lip-locking with Silambarasan, her co-star in Vallavan. Nayanthara was rumored as involved with Silambarasan at that time. However, the pair broke up citing differences soon after the film was released. Further controversy was created when rumors leaked out that the plot of Silambarasan’s forthcoming film, Kettavan, was based on the couple’s true love story.
Nayanthara is very generous person, contributes to many Organizations.
